Mill Farm Project South Kildare

This project, currently underway in South Kildare, is nestled in a picturesque area, boasting views of undulating hills. The structure is a 305m² bungalow that features an internal courtyard, providing an inviting outdoor seating space. Accommodations include five bedrooms and four bathrooms, alongside an expansive open plan area that encompasses the kitchen, living, and dining spaces. An additional large living room further enhances the living experience. 

The topography of the site presented substantial challenges requiring significant earthworks. The construction involved excavating approximately 2 meters into the hillside. This phase meant that a staggering 1000m³ of subsoil had to be removed and reshuffled across the site, particularly to the lower elevations. 

Architecturally, the design incorporates three flat roofs, which complements the intricate roof structure that adds a layer of complexity to the bungalow’s aesthetic and functional form.
